The book was adapted into a film, which was also written and directed by Despentes.

Still, there are interesting ideas and powerful observations to spare. Until then, I have her novels, and the effect is largely the same.Well, my timing for reading this book was pretty good, I must say. and yes it is exactly that. Apocalypse bébé.

I'm not opposed to feminist revenge fantasy, but the execution here was poor.A colorful cast of characters and an ending that is quite a different tone from the rest of the book. >_>Well, my timing for reading this book was pretty good, I must say. Hoped for more.At the halfway point, it's feeling kind of like a trudge. Recently, I've come to the conclusion that, though it is not my most important desire, at some point before I die I would like Virginie Despentes to slap me in the face. It mainly felt like it was trying to be shocking for no reason. At the halfway point, it's feeling kind of like a trudge.
