Expérience que je à renouveler. This left a bitter aftertaste on what was an otherwise very good week. The only option at the hotel was the vending machines. I let the holiday company know and on arrival at the hotel I spoke politely with the kitchen and chefs to make them aware. Coffee is only available with breakfast, you have to pay for it at any other time. Super séjour, très bon hébergement.
Our main complaint is that you have to understand that this first week, the opening week, is something of a "pre-opening" - much of the ski domain has not yet been opened, and if you are dreaming of skiing the Via Lattea / Voie Lactée / Milky Way (which the VCS flaunt so much in the catalogue/on the website for Montgenèvre), then you can forget it this particular week. It really was unpleasantly chilly.
Vegetarians are not so rare nor are vegans but there seemed to be absolutely no consideration for us at even when asking everyday what was vegetarian as nothing was marked. Not great when travelling with children.
This was frustrating, but beyond the control of the VCS. We drove to Sestrière one afternoon (30 minutes), and there were a few of the main slopes open, but only 10% of the total ski domain. Hardly any of the staff speak english and NONE of the information is translated from French, even safety info!!

Frustrating...This is one of a number of VCS hotels scattered around France mainly the Alps and Beaches founded in 1960 and still thriving as they have an excellent formula.Food is fantastic and full board,wine is free with meals and bar prices reasonable .Price includes the lift pass and ski hire but the rooms are basic and only cleaned once a week by the young staff who work hard doing all the jobs.There is a free childrens club daily and free evening entertainment although all in French of course,The hotel has over 200 rooms and was rammed with kids during our easter stay however everyone coped.There is no room safe and the small flat screen tv has only two English speaking channels (Blomberg and CNBC).The lifts (2) take only four people so there is often a wait and the hotel is in two separate interconnected buildings which lead to our party being split up.The ski lockers are situated outside the main building so you need outside shoes and although heated there are no boot warmers so you may find the need to dry your boots in the bedroom,There is a four man chair across the road up 26 steps but you can ski back to the hotel car park from the blue piste.otherwise you access the ski area by the hotel fleet of buses ranging from 44 to 8 seats,They are advertised to run on a 20 minute schedule but we rarely waited as they anticipated demand very well Rafting, vtt, golf, randos, etc... sans parler du prêt de matériel qui facilite vraiment la vie!
Côté hébergement, nous avions rencontré quelques soucis avec la chambre, mais l’accueil a fait preuve de disponibilité et réactivité pour tout résoudre!
A refaire Les lits sont confortables a souhait les chambres spacieuse et le personnel sympathiques donc rien a direPremière x au club village soleil. I like salad and don't mind too much but everyday lunch and dinner for a week was not great service at all. Seul chose qui pourrait être améliorée pour que tout soitpartagez-la !

The furniture in the public areas is broken and scuffed. Nous avions déjà fait un séjour en hiver, qui nous avait ravis.
