Also to note if you are easily woken up you will be by cicadas which sounds like a million maracas everywhere from dawn to dusk. The camp is very basic and had not trips or anything we could book and although the 2 Eurocamp staff were very friendly it appeared that they were working pretty much everyday and so could not provide much in the way of guidance to what is around the camp and in the various towns and cities surrounding it. The nearest bus (number 40 which only goes near to the camp about 3 times a day) is a 15 minute trek along fast flowing road with no barrier except a white line between you and the vehicles screaming passed (see my photos). For those who require a full on holiday experience, There is 1 bar/restaurant which has a small menu, fish/burger/pizza and a small pool with can get very busy.The caravan was fine, clean and well equipped. The accomodations are fine, Ours has air conditioning, toilet and shower, cooking facilities and a porch, on a shady plot surrounded by shrubbery. The camp included one pool, one restaurant and one small store, there is an Aldi 'nearby' but you will need to walk for 20 minutes long the busy road to get there. Clim. However, the local resort of La Ciotat was very nice and the weather fabulous so we did have a lovely time. The brochure does not make this clear but this camp is really NOT suitable if you are not driving. The road is also pretty steep towards the camp and no-one seems to know exactly when the bus will arrive. I would definitely come back to the area but not this campsite due to the traffic noise and most disappointly the hostility we felt from some of the locals.Lovely area. When we arrived we were told that they could only provide us with 1 of the 3 towel sets we ordered - we got a refund but surely they had more towels (or had they been taken by the Homair guests!?)
