The flashback framing device is as unnecessary as it does in any movie, and the movie seems a bit unfocused (why is Geena Davis's Dottie the main character when it should clearly be Lori Petty's Kit, why does Tom Hanks's character (and a lot of the other characters) go through no real growth that we see and just sort of become good over time) but it's so sweet, and impressive, and pleasant. Most scenes end with a comedic tag. It’s fun. Après la réussite de BIG, on pouvait s'attendre à mieux de la part de Penny Marshall. I really enjoyed this movie and how it explored a side of American history that is often forgotten about. because i think this opened a new window into my sexuality and can’t bounce back.
