Room types may vary.We stayed here on a walking tour of Provence and this hotel was far better than I was expecting. Excellent for a short stay. Good swimming pool and loungers. A spa area with jacuzzi, sauna and an esthetic center for massages are also available on site. All the rooms are equiped with a TV with satellite channels and Free Wi-Fi access. The food was delicious and I found it of higher quality than many other places in town...I strongly recommend it. Two things that would have improved our stay: Most importantly. The group plan was to try a new restaurant every evening but I ended up going to this hotel's restaurant three or four times! Please see our partners for more details.Ideally located near the famous Gorges du Verdon and Lavender Road, the hotel offers 3-stars accommodation close to the pedestrian street in Gréoux-les-Bains. The hotel was just on the end of a charming little street with small shops, flowers and lovely restaurants. ( Room 26) Breakfast was excellent. There were a number of loungers and some thatched umbrellas around the pool to provide much needed shade.

The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was served in a separate room inside the hotel and was an extensive buffet, it would have been nice for this to have been in the main restaurant or by the pool. Hotel des Alpes is just a few minutes from the CEA Cadarache ITER, 14 km from the A51 motorway and 16 km from Manosque.
