The food was well prepared...The foie gras was delightful, the cassolette quite good and the soufflé au grand-marnier excellent (it is rare nowadays to find a chef that can do this dessert perfectly ). I especially liked their recommendation to go with the local wine Fiefs Vendeen which was excellent and least expensive on the list. The service was prompt, and courteous and friendly. Le plus, un très bon respect des règles sanitaires ce qui est appréciable. Drag a photo here

Didn't have any particular place in mind but Le Castle looked inviting and it turned out to be just what we had hoped for.
