I would suggest to the owner of this chalet that they do not rent out to Snow Chateux in the future. Suffice to say that noise travels in this chalet. We went just as a couple; we enjoyed meeting with the other couple and family but it wasn't great sharing with a large group of college friends with whom we had little in common.

We rented our skis from Intersport, also very near the chalet.

Location of the chalet is great, its a 5-10minute walk with your skis to the main chair lifts but great to get to the sports centre which is practically opposite & the supermarket only 3/4minute walk.

I really liked the pistes in the local area and it was a pleasure to ski back at the end of each day. Snow was OK, wind and temperature not so good (we were here at the beginning of January). Chalet Chardonnet, Tignes Le Lac.

It’s quite far to get to the lifts, about 10 to 15 minutes walking whist carrying skis which was not great, the walk was along the flat but it might be easier for people staying here to store their equipment in a locker nearer the lifts.
