Before I left, a very kind girl of North African descent, mortified by what had happened to us and who was very apologetic, came to our table with a platter containing cooked meats and cakes, obviously taken from the buffet out front. In the end we had to turn it off and open both the windows to let the cool air - and massive traffic noise and pollution from the motorway - in. Breakfast for a gluten and dairy free diet was also catered for.

ibis budget Lyon Confluence is located in Lyon, a 2-minute walk from Sainte-Blandine Tram Stop, a 20-minute walk from Centre Presqu'île, and 750 yards from Lyon Perrache Train Station. The lift does not go to subterranean car park level at night, but was helpful in the morning as it avoided going out in the rain with our luggage. Staff ( Mr. Miroslav ) was not kind on phone.
