The cabin we reserved was technically "obstructed view" but the only thing between us and the buttes was a row of cabins that was below our eyeline anyway, I'd say, don't bother to spend the money on the "premium view cabin".

As for the cabin itself, it was small but plenty big enough for the two of us and really cosy and warm, despite the cold November night. I have never, *ever* stayed somewhere with a view like this. It was also really well stocked, with fridge, coffee maker, toiletries and a hairdryer, plus a little table. If you have a decent vehicle it should handle the rough terrain of the 17 mile loop negating the need to pay for a vehicle tour.

And the convenient proximity to the 17 mile loop and is limited and this one is located in a large open area.We stayed in a cabin which had a queen size bed in the back, a set of for the kids, and a sleeper sofa big enough for 2 in the front room with a kitchen.The View Campground has the most incredible view (as it should with a name like "The View.") I was mad to say the least! Resonable priced, drive the canyon road. The view definitely didn’t disappoint. Hotel is only place to eat, food and service were excellent.

Only drawback is that it can be a bit pricey, but you really can't get any better!! As soon as we arrived, I was devastated that we were only going to stay one night. Excellent shower/bathroom facility make up for some of this.

These minor issues can be easily overlooked because we are here the unbelievable views, sunset and sunrise of Monument Valley. Awesome. Massively recommend.
